For Parents & Carers

A calm, safe space where your child can grow confidence at their own pace.

The Manor Hub supports children, young people and young adults who may benefit from low-pressure activities, predictable routines, social connection, life skills and gentle confidence-building.

Is This Right For My Child?

You know your child best. Here are some signs the Hub may suit them.

They need a calmer place

A space that feels less rushed, less crowded and easier to understand.

They may want to watch first

Joining in is not forced. Watching, pausing or taking a break can all be part of the visit.

They enjoy structured interests

D&D, chess, games, creative projects, cooking, digital activities or practical tasks can help build confidence.

They need a gentle bridge

The Hub can act as a stepping-stone between home, school and wider community spaces.

First Visit

A low-pressure way to see the space

A short, calm visit — a look around, a chat, and a chance to decide what feels possible. There is no pressure to join in on the day.

Start From Home

Not Ready To Visit Yet?

That's completely okay.

Some children and young people need a little longer before visiting somewhere new.

Our online sessions allow them to:

  • meet facilitators
  • become familiar with other participants
  • build trust
  • try activities
  • develop confidence

before attending The Manor in person.

Start with a conversation

You do not need to know which activity is right. Tell us a little about your child or young person, and we can suggest a gentle first step.
